Abstract The use of rubber in asphalt mixtures is a new thing nowadays, but practice its has not been fully implemented throughout Indonesia. approach using local materials made many researchers perform various combinations, this study one the combinations used material testing characteristics on AC-WC ( Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course ) layer. purpose was to determine from variation mixing with tires composition 1%, 2%, 3%, and 4%. method secondary data added tires, which are varied 1% 4% by weight asphalt, based conventional Marshall test. results indicate that stability value mixture an average 1532 kg (minimum requirement 800 kg), VIM Void Mix test 3.7% 3%), flow 2.3mm 2mm), VMA Mineral Aggregate content 16 (15 percent requirement), remaining 94% meets general specifications Bina Marga 2018.
